Meet our 2026 board members. We want to help you grow and thrive as you minister to young people and their families.
Ben Hayes
Ben lives in Muscle Shoals, Alabama with his wife Kenya and their five kids- Jackson, Destin, Branslee, Stana and Cyprus. Ben has been in ministry for 23 years, which includes youth and family ministry, as well as pulpit ministry. His current role is the pulpit minister at Highland Park Church of Christ. He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor who does work with individuals and couples of all ages.
Joey Markham
Joey is from Lynchburg, Tennessee and now lives in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Joey has been an active volunteer and deacon in the youth program at the West Dyersburg congregation for several years. He also spent time as a youth minister at the Germantown congregation in Memphis, TN.
Aaron Dodson
Aaron was a youth minister for 18 years and has worked with teens and congregations all over the state of TN. In June of 2026, he will begin working with the Morristown Church of Christ in Morristown, TN as their Connections Minister. He and his wife, Jenny, have 3 girls (plus a few bonus family members). His hobbies include putting space helmets on preachers, aggravating campus ministers, and not drinking coffee.
Patrick Kershaw
Patrick lives in Killen, AL with his wife Diana and their two daughters Addi Rose and Annakate. He has served the families at the Killen Church of Christ for 6 years as youth minister and has been a part of youth ministry in various roles for 20 years. Patrick and Diana love working with youth of all ages. Along with youth ministry, you’ll often find them involved in puppets for Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes, VBS, and mission trips.
Brady Wilkes
Brady has worked as the Youth and Family Minister with the Broad Street church of Christ for the past seven years. He and his wife Zoie have a son named Turner. They love working with the teens and families they serve. Brady also practices as a supervised clinical pastoral therapist.
Lucas Dial
Lucas has served as the Youth and Family Minister at the Calvert City Church of Christ for 5 years. He, along with his wife, Sarah Ruth, is blessed with a beautiful daughter named Macy. They love watching sports together, except when Tennessee and Kentucky face off (go Vols). Lucas and Sarah Ruth share a passion for bringing young people closer to Christ.
Carol Staron
Carol is from Dyersburg Tennessee. She has a passion for children and women's ministry and has served in ministry for the last 14 years. Carol serves part-time in Children's Ministry at the West Dyersburg Church of Christ.
Rhonda Fernandez
Rhonda Fernandez is from Montgomery, Alabama and is a graduate of Auburn University. Halo Fernandez is the love of her life, and they have lived in the Orlando area for almost 20 years. Rhonda works with several youth organizations including L2L. She has served on the L2L board of directors for decades.
