Who is M2Y designed for?
The Ministering to Youth (M2Y) conference is designed to aid anyone who works with young people in a church setting. Sessions are shaped around revival, modern culture, needs, and ideas with an emphasis on the practical. Our goal is for you to be able to take home what you hear and use it to refresh and recharge your youth ministry. Whether you are a volunteer, deacon, elder, or full-time youth minister, there is something for you.
What does my conference registration fee include?
The conference registration helps us cover the cost of bringing in our speakers and teachers as well as other incidental costs for hosting the event. For the 2023 conference, it also covers the cost of lunch on Friday and snacks throughout the weekend. Audio and/or video recordings for some classes and keynotes are available after the conference concludes.
The conference fee does not include lodging, transportation, or food (unless otherwise mentioned in the schedule).

Are meals provided?
This answer may change depending on the year and lodging situation. Some hotels make us guarantee a minimum number of dollars spent on catering. If we can, we would rather keep our registration fee down (an “inexpensive” hotel-catered lunch can often cost $25-35 per plate).
For the 2023 conference, the cost of Friday’s lunch is included in the registration fee.
Is childcare provided?
We have offered childcare in the past. However, due to liability and staffing issues, we will be unable to offer childcare moving forward. We apologize that this could be an inconvenience for your family, but the sounds of babies and children will definitely not disturb those of us here to minister to youth!
I have a suggestion for a presentation/class for a future conference. Who should I contact?
The M2Y board would love to hear your suggestions and ideas for future conferences. Please note that the board generally plans the next conference a year in advance. If you have any thoughts or questions, please contact any member of the board or you can email us at m2yconference@gmail.com.
Are recorded sessions available?
We include some audio and video recordings of sessions in your conference fee. Due to the time constraints of our volunteer board, it may take a few months before these are available.
We do ask that you do not share these recording with others without first contacting the M2Y board.
If you were unable to attend the conference but are interested in any of the recordings, please contact the M2Y board by emailing us at m2yconference@gmail.com.
Can I share recorded sessions with others?
Recorded audio and video from the conference is the property of M2Y, and we ask that you check with the M2Y board before sharing any recordings.
We do ask that copies of these recordings do not extend further than that (social media, YouTube, etc…) without express permission from the M2Y board. Our hope is that more and more will join us for the conference in the years to come rather than just viewing sessions after the conference has concluded. We believe that the best way to experience M2Y is in-person. There is something special about being there that videos just can't relay.
